Beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025 at the age of 73 years.

Born on October 12, 1951, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late John and Blanche (Hincka) Stimpson, Michael would be a lifelong Saginaw resident. A proud graduate of Saginaw High School, class of 1969, Michael served in the Army during the Vietnam War, where he was stationed in Korea as a military police officer. His calm and gentle demeanor left a lasting impression on those who knew him. He had a long and dedicated career as a Millwright at Saginaw Malleable Iron Factory, retiring after 35 years of service. Michael was also an active member of the United Auto Workers in the benefits division. Michael enjoyed working on cars, remodeling his home and cabin, and traveling. He cherished the time spent with his family and friends, creating many fond memories.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Susan, whom he married on December 28, 1974. Michael is also survived by his children, Matthew (Sara) Stimpson and Amanda Stimpson, and his grandchildren, Reese and Rylee Stimpson, as well as many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John Stimpson.
