Michael A. Tinari

Michael A. Tinari, of Upper Southampton, passed away on July 7, 2024. He was 37. Michael is survived by his parents, Denise (nee Homont) and Michael T. Tinari; his sister, Catie Dooling (Ryan); niece, Grace and nephew, Ryan Jr.; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Lifelong Southampton resident, Michael graduated high school from Valley Forge Military Academy in Wayne, PA where his respect and admiration for Military service began. In 2009 Michael enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and completed several deployments around the world including a deployment to Belize and Haiti, and three deployments to Afghanistan resulting in several commendations from the United States Marine Corps honoring his exemplary courage and service to his country. He was honorably discharged in 2013 and has since been active in several Veteran programs to benefit Veterans and their wellbeing.
Traveling abroad and all over the United States was another great love of his, and he was always excited to immerse himself in the people, culture and food. His hobbies included woodworking, BBQing, and general tinkering of truck and machine parts. He was a passionate fan of his beloved Philadelphia Eagles and enjoyed countless games over the years in section 130 at the Linc. His contagious laugh, infectious smile and passion for life will be forever in our hearts.
Michael's family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, July 15, 2024 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 611 Knowles Ave., Southampton, PA. On Tuesday, July 16, the family will again receive from 10 to 11:45 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:00 PM. Interment will be on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA.
