Sabattus - Michael E. Wilbur, 39, of Sabattus passed away unexpectedly and entered his mothers arms just days before Christmas. Mike was born April 16th, 1984, to proud parents, Bruce and Dot Wilbur.
Mike graduated from Oak Hill High School in 2002 and was employed as an Operator for American Steel. He was a dedicated, hard working and determined man. As well as a devoted and loving father, son, brother, nephew, cousin, and good friend to so many people.
Mike was engaged to be married to the love of his life, Jessica Brann, on August 10th, 2024. They had 2 beautiful daughters, Haylie and Dakota. Mike was very proud of his family and his daughters were the light of his life. Him and Dakota would spend hours playing video games, especially Minecraft. He had a bond like no other with Haylie, especially when it came to motorcycles and music.
Mike was one of a kind with a contagious smile and laugh. Mike was the type of person who would do anything for anyone. Mike loved gaming, playing disc golf, having bonfires, 4 - wheeling, and jeeping. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. Whether it was a family function, tinkering on something with his dad, BBQs playing corn hole, or video chatting with his dad for hours at night. He could never take a serious photo; there was always a funny face, his tongue sticking out, or his favorite, the middle finger. His love for all different styles of music was known to everyone. He loved music with meaning and listened to it loud. Everywhere he went he always had a Bluetooth speaker to play tunes. Whether it was out 4 wheeling, around a fire or simply sitting on the couch. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie #618, where he loved to hang out and socialize while he played pool and darts.
He will always be remembered and sadly missed by so many.
Mike is survived by his fiancé Jessica Brann; daughters Haylie and Dakota; his father Bruce Wilbur; sister and brother-in-law Erin and Tim Kinney and their son, Gavin. He also leaves behind many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was predeceased by his mother Dot Wilbur, all his grandparents, multiple cousins, aunts, uncles, and a few close friends.
There will be a service for Mike on Saturday January 6th @ 11:00 am at Pathway Vineyard Church, 12 Foss Rd, Lewiston. Doors will be open between 10 and 10:30. Celebration of life will following the service from 1:00 to 5:00 pm at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie #618, 1327 Sabattus St., Lewiston.
