Michael Sean Wilford, 48, of Doerun, passed away at Colquitt Regional Medical Center on Friday, February 7, 2025.
A private family memorial will be held at a later time.
Born on May 11, 1976, in Panama City Beach, Florida, on Tyndall Air Force Base, he was the son of the late Jackie Wilford and Nancy Sanders Wilford. A true Florida State Seminoles fan, he never missed a game and cheered them on with passion.
Sean found joy on the water, spending countless hours boating and fishing. He also loved hunting alongside his father, creating memories in the great outdoors. He had a fascination with conspiracy theories, always enjoying a good discussion and a deep dive into the unknown.
Above all else, Sean’s greatest love was his family. He adored his wife, Traci, and was a proud and loving father. His grandson, Drake, was his pride and joy, and nothing made him happier than being called “Paw Paw.” He was of the Baptist faith.
Sean is survived by his adored wife, Traci Lynn Strayer Wilford of Doerun; children, Kade Kennedy of Doerun, Cryslyn Kennedy and Izabelle Kennedy, both of Moultrie; grandson, Drake Martin Demott; mother-in-law, Donna Hooks of Moultrie; brother-in-law, David Strayer and wife Megan of Moultrie; nieces, Evelyn Strayer and Elizabeth Strayer; and special friends he considered brothers, Will Hutto and Joe Bailey, both of Tallahassee, Florida
