Michael Thomas Zabilansky, 46, of Huntersville, died on March 3, 2023. He was born on September 26, 1976, in Huntington, NY, to Donald Raymond Zabilansky and Mary Ellen Zabilansky. He is predeceased by both his maternal and paternal grandparents, his aunt Mary, his cousin Brendan, and his cousin Billy.
Michael attended school in both Portland, Oregon, and Simsbury, Connecticut. He graduated from Clemson University with a degree in finance. He later became a Certified Financial Planner. He worked at the Vanguard Group in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was a fantastic son, brother, uncle, godfather, cousin, and friend. He will always be remembered for his good looks, charm, good nature, and friendly and helpful manner.
Instead of flowers, donations may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation because Michael loved children.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, March 8, at St. Mark Catholic Church. Visitation will be one hour prior in the narthex. Burial will follow at Northlake Memorial Gardens.
