Miche'le E. Baldwin was born on May 16, 1958, to the late Rev. Maurice L. Gordon II and Patricia M. Gordon-Hill. Miche'le was the middle child born to this union. She passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024, and was received in the loving arms of her God where she is now back with her late husband of 39 years, Earl D. "Sonny" Baldwin and her siblings, Patrick Andrew and Renee Lucy. She leaves to mourn siblings, Maurice (Holly), Kevin Swann and Patricia, uncle Rev. J.A. Jone, aunt Cathy D. Lovings, stepchildren Shelly (Marvin), Earl Jr. (Troi), Pamela "Pammy" (Steve) and nieces Nicole, Monica Monique, Brie, Jessica, nephews Michael, Jr, Kevin and great nieces and great nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, cousins "Cuzzos".
Miche'le was a born-agaiin believer and lover of our Lord and Savior. Miche'le cherished the memory of being baptized by her father. She recalled how he whispered in her ear exactly what this meant for her for the rest of her life and for eternity.
Miche'le enjoyed working side by side with "Sonny" as a property manager for many years in. Later she worked as the administrative assistant to Pastor Lawrence Smith, Mulberry Community Church, and grant writer.
As an avid reader, Miche'le loved to curl up in bed and read into the wee hours of the morning. She loved her books, and they were often nearby. Some of you may find this surprising... she REALLY ENJOYED reality television. Yep, that's right Love N Hip Hop, Mask Singer, Love After Lock Up and the list could go on. Maurice turned her onto TUBI! Why in the world did he ever do that? Most of us know that she struggled with sleep TUBI quickly became a fast culprit.
Miche'le was a PROUD Schenley Spartan; she often attended class reunions. She maintained regular contact with classmates/friends, including Joann Mack, Sharon Love and Robin Paige and others. She was on the high school as a member of the tennis team. She cherished the memories of taking her granddaughter Little Sonny, to her driver's license and cooking shrimp for her grandson, William whenever he came to town. She enjoyed taking the grandchildren to the Today Show in New York City. That trip was affectionately known as :"Grandsons on the Run", and finally trips to casinos. Yes, casinos are plural! Often Cuzzo Debbie, would share "free plays" with Miche'le but let's leave that alone.

My name is Stephanie Brown and I live in Kennesaw, GA outside of Atlanta. I am SO sorry to hear about my dear friend Michelle. She stayed with Lynwood & I while she was here in 2023. It was her and Sonny that introduced my husband & I. I am going to miss my friend.

Dear Maurice and Pat Pat and family.

I am going to miss my friend since kindergarten. Over 60 years of friendship, and blessed to have stored many wonderful memories shared throughout those years.

My deepest condolences to you all. You had a beautiful sister who was loving, kind, and courageous. May the loved of our Father God comfort you all during this transitional period of life. And, may I encourage you in this.....
We can rest assured Mickey is with the Lord, in a new body, free of sickness and death. She lives! Amen

Love you all!
Robin
