Michele F. Dirzius

Michele Dirzius, 35, of Prospect, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 1, 2017. She was the daughter of Pamela Dirzius-Wright of Prospect and the late Frank Dirzius. She was born on January 21, 1981 in Waterbury, CT. Michele loved children and worked as a nanny and in her free time played in a Prospect Women's Softball League. She was a graduate of Wolcott High School, attended CCSU, and a member of St. Francis Assisi Church in Naugatuck. Michele is survived by not only her mother but her stepfather, Gregory Wright, a son, Gage Leon, siblings: Matthew Dirzius, Roman Wright, Denis Wright, Irina Wright, Alexa Wright, James Wright along with a niece, a nephew and a godson. She also leaves many aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect. Burial will be at St. Augustine's Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
