Michele Ann Williams (nee Sterling), 70, of Villa Hills, KY, passed away on August 26, 2021 at University Hospital after a long battle with a deteriorating pulmonary illness that was exacerbated by her contracting COVID-19. Michele always had a smile on her face despite the battles in life she faced. She served on the boards of Covington Catholic High School and Notre Dame Academy, she was an avid advocate for the care of the disabled at Drake Hospital, and she always enjoyed going to Siesta Key with her family.

Michele is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Dr. J.D. Williams; her children, Dr. J. Ryan Williams (Erin), M. Renee Jones, and Tara Williams; and her siblings, Glen Sterling, Mary Kay Sterling, Gemma Zembrodt, Jan Zembrodt, Mary Pat Lewis, and Fr. John Sterling.

Michele also leaves behind her 7 grandchildren, whom she adored.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 10:00AM at St. Barbara Catholic Church.

Masks and social distancing are mandatory.

The family requests that if you are eligible for the COVID vaccine, but have not been vaccinated, that you attend her funeral mass from home via livestream link: www.stbarbaraky.org

We had such good times in high school and after. I will always remember the times we spent together fondly.

Only found out last night while talking to Rita on the phone. Shocked completely. I did remember you confided in me years back she had a pulmonary situation for a good 30 years or so. I remember a scene at my bar where Michelle was dancing with her sister and friends to DJ music. She turned to me and smiled, took a sip and turned back to the floor and became Tina Turner in a flash. You looked at me and smiled with great pride. I think we've been to the floor and both been to the top of the Grand Tetons at Jackson. You will not be able to replace her. Ever. If you want to find solice. Mind to her pots and gardens. The life is seasonal. With it comes beauty. The AMG will still be there. Love you man. - M

I´ll always remember after our first child was born prematurely and Michele reached out to me with such an encouraging message to let me know she was praying for us and I didn´t doubt her. She also bought practically a whole premie wardrobe to make sure our tiny baby had enough clothes to wear. I was overwhelmed by her kindness and generosity. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to know her and will really miss her.

We are praying for your precious family daily
