Warren: Michelle C. (Partlow) Nichols, 59, of Dunham Rd., passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, Jan. 18th, after a long illness.
She leaves her loving husband of 35 years, Joseph G. Nichols; her two daughters, Ashley Bastien and her husband Mark of Ellington, CT and Savannah Nichols of Stafford Springs, CT; her mother, Carolyn M. (Jaskoviak) Partlow of Sturbridge; her brother, Michael L. Partlow, II and his wife Danielle of Holland; her two sisters, Liz A. Wassmer and her husband Ronald of Brookfield and Paula M. Trombley and her husband Brad of Azle, TX; her four grandchildren, Brody Knight, Thomas Bastien, Grayson Camacho and Lilliana Pecore; many nieces and nephews; and many beloved friends. She was born in Southbridge the daughter of the late Michael L. Partlow, I.
Michelle was the office manager of her husband's business, Nichol's Flooring for over 30 years. She also previously owned and operated MLP Power Washing and worked for her father's and brother's company ML Partlow Paving. Michelle was also a reserve Deputy Sheriff for the Worcester County Sheriff's Department and a long time volunteer with the Sheriff's Department.
Michelle loved shopping and was always dressed to impress, the more bling the better. She loved to travel, especially to places with a beach and plenty of sunshine. She made many friends with her great sense of humor and warm personality. Above all, she cherished her family and was so very proud of being a grandmother to her 4 grandchildren.
A funeral Mass for Michelle will be held on Friday, Jan. 24th, at 11:00am in Notre Dame Church of the St. John Paul II Parish, 446 Main St., Southbridge. Burial will follow in St. Anne's Cemetery, Sturbridge. There are no calling hours.
The Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, is directing arrangements.
