Norwich- Michline Lindsey, born on February 13, 1963 in Groton, CT entered into eternal rest on May 19, 2025, in the arms of her best friend Jamie, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved daughter of the late Melvin Lindsey and Gail Cuhna.
Known as "Missy" to her friends and "Mammie" to her grandchildren; She was a beacon of light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Missy's earthly journey was built upon compassion, faith and an unwavering love for her family and friends. Her passing is such a profound loss that has left a void in our hearts, leaving behind the hope that one day we will all be reunited once again.
Missy is survived by her loving mother, Gail Cuhna of Gloucester, VA, her brothers John Lindsey (Priscilla) and Shawn Cuhna (Liz, Shawn Cunha, Jr., Daniel Cunha, and Thalia Cunha); her daughters Melissa Lindsey and Megan Arsenault-Perez (Cesar), her son, Patrick Lindsey, grandchildren Monique Green (Dijon), Jasmine Ortiz(Tyler), Ma-aseiyah Williams Jr. Javaughn Williams Sr.(Sytira) and Janiyah Williams (Diory), her aunt Bonnie Lee, her best friend Jamie DeGunia, as well as 9 great-grandchildren and one on the way. Missy was pre-deceased by her father Melvin Lindsey, her granddaughter Bianca Ortiz and her beloved dog, King.
Missy took great pride in her family and spending time watching each and everyone of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren find their way in this world, as well as having family gatherings and celebrations where she could have all of her loved ones together at once. Family was everything. When Missy was able to find quiet time, she could always be found crocheting something new for a loved one, or curled up watching her shows with her fur baby, Prince.
Missy spent the last 25 years employed as a Surveillance Operator for the Mohegan Tribe. Throughout her time at Mohegan Sun, she formed lifelong friendships and bonds with those she worked alongside, she was truly blessed to have so many people who loved her.
Those who knew Missy will remember her for her infectious smile, her generous heart, her ability to break out into song at any moment and her unwavering strength. Missy had a rare gift of making everyone around her feel loved and heard, leaving a mark on everyone who crossed her path.

Services will take place at the Neilan Funeral Home, 12 Ocean Ave New London, CT on Thursday May 29, 2025
