Maurice L. "Mickey" Mace, Jr., age 74, passed away on December 22, 2024.
He was born August 10, 1950, to the late Maurice and Edith (McMullen) Mace, Sr., in Council Bluffs, IA. Mickey graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and then proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Mickey retired from the VA Hospital in Omaha.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Mace; son, Benjamin Mace; brothers, Gary Mace and Larry Mace.
Mickey is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Mickayla & Darick Rotert; son, Keith Mace McNary; sister and brother-in-law, Linda & Cliff Fowler; grandchildren, Roxanna Szczepanowski, Gracen Rotert, and Macey Rotert; brother-in-law, Jimmie (Amy) Martinez; a host of other family and friends.
Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, December 27, 2024. The family will direct memorials.
