Mike Clisso Obituary

Mike was a kind soul, and devoted father, husband, brother, son, uncle and friend. He was a graduate of Matoaka High School in 1982 and worked as machinist for United Industrial Service for 19 years, and previously for MJ Electric. He was an avid carpenter and was always willing to step in to help his family and anyone else who needed it.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Mike Lewis and Joann Clisso; maternal grandparents, George and Fulvia Clark; and father-in-law, Frankie Jennings.
In addition to his father, those left cherish his memory include his wife of 34 years, Bentley Glennette Jennings Clisso; son, Shawn Clisso and partner Antonio Bonessi of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Monika Clisso of Princeton; siblings, Kenneth Clisso and wife Donna of Mechanicsville, VA, Dianna Oni and husband Claudius of Monroe, NC, and Brian Clisso and companion, Pam, of Como, MS; mother-in-law, Oma Willadeane "Deanie" Jennings of Lashmeet; brothers-n-law, Frankie Dean, Barry and Denton Jennings and their families; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friends Carl Peyton, Jim Farley, Rondel Shrewsbury, his work family, and many others who thought the world of Mike.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2022 at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral home in Princeton with Rondel Shrewsbury and Carl Peyton officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
The family will receive friends Friday, August 19, 2022 from noon until service hour at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton. To view a video tribute to Mike, or share condolences with the family, please visit www.bailey-kirk.com.
