OBITUARY
Michael Durand Farmer, age 70, of Monroe passed away on July
31, 2024. He was born on January 5, 1954 to the late Mary Willene Farmer and
the late Thomas Walker Farmer. He was preceded in death by his siblings: the
late Carol Johnson and the late Tim Farmer.
Surviving: the love of his life: Gloria Famer; daughters:
Tonya Smallwood (Frankie), Crystal Cartrette (David); son: Jeremy Farmer
(Cerra); siblings: Pam Griffith (Pete), Darryl Farmer (Beth), Kerry Farmer; 15
grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at Meadows
Funeral Home from 4:00 pm â?? 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday,
August 5, 2024 at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Reverend Debra
Gentry and Bishop Ronald Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Braswell
Cemetery.
Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
