Milan ''Mitch'' Jurich, 95, of Sylvania, OH passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025.
Born in Monroe, Michigan in 1930, Mitch was very young when his mother passed away. He was raised by a loving father, an older sister and many caring neighbors in his community.
Mitch became a talented athlete and student at Monroe High School. Upon graduation, he attended Central Michigan University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Business.
He married his high school sweetheart, JoAnne Schudel, and together they raised their family in Monroe. Mitch was initially employed by Ford Motor Company as a cost accountant and spent his career with Ford in several accounting and finance roles.
Upon retiring, Mitch and JoAnne resided in Colorado, traveling often to visit family and friends across the country.
Milan was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnne, and sons Paul and Marty. He is survived by his sons Jeff (Kim Douglas) Jurich and Michael (JoAnn) Jurich along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren and niece.
The memorial service will be private. Arrangements are provided by Reeb Funeral Home, Sylvania, Ohio.
The family extends their sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff at The Grove and Care 360 Hospice for the care they provided to Mitch.
