Millie was born in Seguin, Kansas on August 30, 1934. She and Bob grew up together and were high school sweethearts. They traveled and lived in Europe and across the southern United States during Bob's service in the U.S. Air Force. At the end of his time in service, Mille and Bob settled in Schertz, Texas, which quickly became her home.
She is survived by her sister, Mayetta McCarty, and eight daughters and their spouses, Melanie and Rod McGuire, Stephanie and Noel Rudd, Pamela and Tom Montifinesse, Allison and Gary Davis, Audrey and Bill Kenney, Jacqueline and Bryant Headley, Janet Ludlow and Gary Oliver, and Keeley and John Garcia. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 20, 2023 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Selma, Texas with a graveside service to follow on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, 10:30 am at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation.

My condolences to entire family, I worked with Mr. Ludlow at the former Kelly AFB and met his wife at one function at the base during Christmas time. Mr. Ludlow always talked about his 8 daughters, especially Keely. I visited Ft Sam today, May 31 and visited his grave and saw that Mrs Ludlow had joined him
They are now together with our lord, may they both rejoice in heaven
