Millie Regina "Jean" Krampf, 88, of Cumberland, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Allegany Health Nursing and Rehab.
Born June 21, 1936 in Oakland, MD, she was the daughter of the late George and Regina (Goldsworthy) Hinds.
She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, John "Jack" F. Krampf, and a brother, George "Jack" Hinds.
Jean was a 1954 graduate of Fort Hill High School. She had also attended Catherman's Business School.
Jean had been an AVON representative for 52 years in our community.
She belonged to St. Luke's Lutheran Church and had been very involved with WELCA. Jean was also an avid reader.
Mom's hobby was our dad, her grandkids and great grandkids – all the loves of her life! She was a born caregiver, always helping not only her family, but also her friends, neighbors and the community. She certainly set a wonderful example for all of us!
Survivors include her three children, Suzanne Boyd (Ron), Jack Krampf, Jr. (Becky), and Dianne Shuck (Dave); grandchildren, Jonathan Boyd (Debra), Jennifer Krampf, Eric Boyd (Allison), Daniel Krampf (Brandi), Mark Wiseman (Allison), and Jordan Wiseman (Amanda); great grandchildren, Landen, Tucker, Abram, Liam, Asher, Audrey, Cason, Elliot, Scarlett, Natalie, Holden, and Alaina.
Friends will be received at St. Luke's Lutheran Church on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 5-7 PM. The funeral service will follow at 7 PM, with Pastor Lark Muncy, officiating.
Private inurnment at MSVC-Rocky Gap at a later date.
