Sandee, Bud, Luke...I am so sorry. Did not know until Bob Evans notified me an hour ago. The Milt Butterworth family are among my favorite people on the planet -- all of you! I regret we have lost touch. Eileen and I are thinking about you and sending our best thoughts and condolences.

To Sandee, Bud, and Luke: I met Milt 38 years ago, in the summer of 1986, as we mutually embarked into the SSCA Project. During those heady years of triumph and crisis, the highs and lows, Milt was a constant, steadying influence through some pretty crazy times. Milt was quite simply one of the finest human beings it has ever been my privilege to call a colleague and friend. I will always remember his calm demeanor, his open ear, his compassion, his impressive intelligence, his wisdom, and his capacity for deep human understanding. I am better for having known him, and I believe that is true for everyone who was touched by his presence. A truly great man!
