Monica Lynne Carson

FORT WORTH - Monica Lynn Carson left this earth Dec. 29, 2022 at the age of 61.
Graveside: 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023, at Greenwood Memorial Park.
Monica was born Sept. 29, 1961, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Her military family moved to Fort Worth in 1971 and Monica proudly attended Leonard Middle School and then Arlington Heights High School.
Anyone who knew Monica knows she always made clear her opinions about what she liked. Monica loved mowing yards, the color blue, her mom's four-layer cake, and a good Shirley Temple. Monica loved country music and was one of Ronny Millsap's biggest fans. She was also a dedicated fan of Texas Rangers baseball through good times and bad.
Time with family and friends was a treasure for Monica. Playing games and sharing boisterous laughter brought her joy. Cats were an essential part of Monica's life and she could easily recount the years and experiences spent with each family pet.
Monica enjoyed helping others. Collecting money for Jerry's Kids and the Muscular Dystrophy Association was an annual event she looked forward to all year.
The person Monica loved most in this world was her mom. There is a feeling of peace in knowing they are together again now.
Monica was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Patsy Carson; and her nephew, Aaron Carson.
Monica leaves behind her brother, Steve (Laura) Carson; sisters, Valerie Carson and Cathy (Billy) Renfro; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
