Morgan Horne Obituary
Morgan was born June 19, 1993, in Richmond, Virginia to her parents Mike and Debbie Horne. Being born to older parents, Morgan was showered with an immense love like no other. Her young life was so enriched at an early age through her father's international travels, eventually living abroad in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for four years. Morgan learned at a young age how to love others and be generous in giving to others, especially those in need. She lived a dedicated life to community service participating in various charitable and fundraising events, often leading them. Morgan loved so many people and she was loved by so many more. Her infectious smile was unwavering and always lit up a room.
Morgan was a 2011 honor graduate from T.L. Hanna High School where she received the school's highest award for character. Morgan attended Tri-County Technical College for two years. While Morgan was accomplished in so many things, she had learned to really enjoy bartending, especially for the PGA Tournaments in the area. Through her connections with the PGA, Morgan developed a love for playing golf. Despite being an amateur, she enjoyed her time on the course with friends trying to improve her game. As she would often say, "I may not be good yet, trying to get better, but I sure will look good!"
The family desires Morgan's memory and generous spirit to live on by continuing to love one another, be kind, and show compassion to those in need. As such, the family has established the Morgan Horne Memorial Fund whose mission will be to provide golf scholarships to local Anderson area youth. In lieu of flowers, Individuals are encouraged to donate to the Morgan Horne Memorial Fund, c/o The Peoples Bank, 1921 E Greenville St, Anderson, SC 29621.
Those wishing to pay their respects and sign the registry may visit Sullivan-King Mortuary, 3205 N Highway 81, Anderson, SC 29621, Friday, March 10 from 10am-7pm. Burial will be private.

Dear Mike and Debbie, we are so very sorry to hear about this tragic event. We just found out about this but we want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. I always loved that she called me Mr. Todd and we so enjoyed her infectious smile.

Dear Mike and Debbie,
Mike, I am a friend of Linda and Gary Wettle's and remember meeting you on several occasions through Linda many years ago when you were at PM. I will always remember your kind spirit and be grateful to have met you.
Debbie, while I have never had the pleasure of meeting you, I want you both to know my heart is broken for you and Mike. You are in my heart, thoughts and most sincere prayers for the tragic loss of your beautiful Morgan.
My daily prayers for you will be that the Lord wrap His loving arms around you, hold you tightly and comfort you forevermore. May the Lord direct you, protect you and help guide you through the unconscionable, difficult times ahead, times the rest of us cannot begin to comprehend nor ever imagine.
I reside near Linda and Gary. I hope that in time you will be able to visit us. We would welcome you with loving hearts, giant hugs and fun recipes to share.
