Paul Grady Hickman, age 96, died peacefully at Heritage Health Care & Rehab on August 10, 2025. He grew up in Mississippi, where he graduated from Central High School in Jackson. He enrolled in the U.S. Army in 1946 and graduated from Mississippi College in 1952. While at MC, he met his wife of 68 years, Betty Stanley, whom he married and had five daughters. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. and Mrs. Norris Hickman, and brother, Dr. Charles Hickman (Bells, TN), wife Betty Stanley Hickman, daughter Margaret Gail Patrick, and granddaughter Christin Nicole Robertson (Tuscaloosa, AL). Paul is survived by daughters Paula Robinson (Jeff), Tuscaloosa, AL, Tava Reid (Carl), Cleveland, TN, Trish Harkey (Dennis), Jasper, TN, and Jan Bassett, Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by grandson Grady Taylor Robinson, Granddaughter Alana Bassett, and great-granddaughter Aliegha Gail Robertson.

Mr. Paul Hickman will be interred with a graveside service in Mesopotamia Cemetery, Eutaw, Alabama.
