MSgt. Charles Michael “Mike” Angley, Jr., USAF (Ret.), 68, entered into rest on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.

Mike was born on November 14, 1956, in Rome, Georgia, to the late Charles Michael Angley, Sr., and Thelma McCamy Angley. After graduating from high school, he proudly enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served with distinction for 20 years, retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant. Never one to slow down, Mike returned to school to earn his bachelor's degree and later worked for the Federal Aviation Administration for a decade before retiring once again.

After retiring from federal service, Mike channeled his expertise into founding Aeronav Services, an aviation-focused business that continues to thrive today.

Known for his bright personality and genuine kindness, Mike was a friend to all and brought passion to everything he pursued. He was a devoted and longtime member of Houston Lake Presbyterian Church. In his spare time, he loved traveling and most recently took an anniversary trip with his wife, Valaina to both Yosemite National Park and the Grand Canyon; he also enjoyed golfing, and listening to music, especially his favorite, Southern rock. Mike will be deeply missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 49 years, Valaina Angley of Hawkinsville, Georgia; sons, Mac Angley (Amanda) of Haynesville, Georgia and Rob Angley of Gallatin, Tennessee; grandchildren, Emmalee Angley Lewis (Hunter) of Greensboro, North Carolina, Maycee Angley of Gallatin, Tennessee, Ellie Angley Epps (Justin) of Perry, Georgia, Caroline Angley, Levi Leverette and Coulter Etheridge, of Haynesville, Georgia; and sisters, Margaret Rutherford of Warner Robins, Georgia and Mercedes Horton of Texas, along with many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Houston Lake Presbyterian Church with a funeral service to immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. Afterward, Mike will be laid to rest in Sumach Cemetery in Chatsworth, Georgia.
