Myra Marie Frank, age 68 of Green Bay, Wisconsin, formerly of Falls Church, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Bellin Hospital/Unity Hospice with family by her side.

Myra was born on March 3, 1957 in Sac City, Iowa, daughter of Lorraine (Hillmer) Frank and the late LaVern Frank. The family moved to a diversified crop and livestock farm west of Cherokee in 1965. In the summer you would find Myra holding a cat, walking beans, or driving a tractor in the fields. When she would come in from the field, Dad would laugh and say, "I only see the white in your eyes" as Myra was covered head to toe with dust from the field.

Myra was a graduate of Washington High School with the class of 1975. She enjoyed playing drums in the band and cheering on her sisters at their sporting events. Although Myra's body was physically challenged, her mind and quick wit were strong as she graduated from Iowa State with a Business degree, passed the CPA (Certified Public Accountant) exam, and earned a Masters degree in International Foreign Policy from Georgetown University.

Despite her health challenges, Myra spent 35 plus years living in Falls Church, Virginia where she worked as an Auditor for the Department of Defense and the Office of the Inspector General. In 1988, Myra earned the Department of Defense Handicapped Employee of the Year Award. Myra had a strong circle of friends that she enjoyed spending time with. They were always willing to offer care to her during hospital stays, take her to physician appointments or pick up prescriptions. Myra also enjoyed the companionship of her cats Sneakers and Graycie.

After her retirement in 2017, Myra made the decision to move to Green Bay to be closer to family so they could aid in navigating health challenges with her. Myra moved to the retirement community at New Perspective (NP).

Myra enjoyed playing bridge, going out to eat on Thursday nights, summer concerts at Howard Commons across the street, happy hour and tailgate parties at NP Nic's Pub, and visiting with residents and staff who cared for her daily.

Time spent with family was important to Myra, especially playing cribbage, pinochle, and euchre with nieces and nephews. She enjoyed going out to dinner, trying new restaurants/supper clubs, cheering on her favorite sports team (Cyclones, Packers, Bucks, Fever), and visiting with friends and family while enjoying a glass of wine or an old fashioned. She enjoyed watching her great niece and nephews play, wrestle, and get into general mischief.

Myra is survived by her Mother, Lorraine Frank; Sister Colleen Sengpiel (Dave) of West Des Moines, Iowa, Sister Carolyn Boeck (Tim) of Green Bay, Wisconsin; Niece Lauren (Tom), Tommy and Michael Piper of Urbandale, Iowa; Nephew Alan (Ashley), Adalynn, Ava, and Aiden Cushing of Waukee, Iowa, Nephew Cody (Maria) JT and Charlie Boeck of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Nephew Garrett (Carsin), Jack and Ford Boeck of Little Suamico, Wisconsin.

Myra was preceded in death by her Father LaVern Frank, Infant Brother Allen Frank; Aunts Marlis Bell, Marge Frank, and Eloise Hillmer; Uncles Marvin Frank, Raymond Frank, Cecil Bell, and Melvin Hillmer; Grandparents Herman and Clara Hillmer, Ernest and Angie Frank.
