Myrna Planchard

Myrna Lois Reed Planchard, 84, of Sulphur, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, November 2, 2023.
Myrna enjoyed sewing, watching westerns, craft shows and playing slot machines. She was a hairdresser and the owner/operator of Carlyss Feed Store. Myrna enjoyed singing and listening to her sons sing. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed having her friends and family over for coffee.
Those left to cherish Myrna's memory are her children, Kari Planchard, of Carlyss, LA, Reed Planchard (Anita) of Vinton, LA, Hans Planchard (Valerie) of Reno, NV, Coy Planchard (Ruth) of Carlyss, LA; 12 grandkids; 10 great grandkids; sister, Dolores Broussard of Memphis TN; daughter-in-law, Doyline Savoy.
Myrna is preceded in death by her son, Norman Clay Planchard of Carlyss, LA; granddaughter, Deborah L. Doucet, of Cypress, TX; parents, Percy and Mae Reed, of Eunice, LA; sisters, Christine Guillory, of Eunice, LA, Shirley Thompson, of Eunice, LA.
The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice, nurse, Barbara Palmer; CNA, Briahna; nurse practitioner, Maureen Poe for their kind and gracious service given to Ms. Myrna during her illness.
Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. A memorial for Ms. Myrna will be held at a later date. Words of comfort may be left at
