Myrtle Belle Brooks, age 67 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died Sunday, December 22, 2024 at the Big Southfork Medical Center in Oneida, Tennessee.
She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 6, 1957 the daughter of the late Frank Bolin and Goldie (Gage) Bolin Eagleton. Myrtle had worked as a CNA and enjoyed nature by hiking, fishing, and camping.
In addition to her parents, is she preceded in death by her brother, Benny Bolin.
Survivors include her husband of 46 happy years, Ralph Brooks of Whitley City, Kentucky; children, Carl Brooks (Angie) of Lancaster, Kentucky, Cathy Brooks of Whitley City, Kentucky, and Anna Brooks of Whitley City, Kentucky; brothers, Frank Bolin, Jr. of Monticello, Kentucky and Donnie Bolin of Whitley City, Kentucky; and grandchildren, Caitlyn, Brandon, Jacob, Michael, Gunner, and Anthony.
Funeral services will be held 2pm Friday at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro Isaiah Wilson and Bro. Eddie Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in the Mill Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pm Thursday at the Funeral Home.
