Nancy L. Cassidy (nee Brickajlik) passed away peacefully on February 13, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 16, 1936, in Philadelphia, PA, she spent most of her life in Northeast Philadelphia and was a proud graduate of St. Hubert's High School. Nancy spent her later years in Bucks County, PA and was most recently a resident of Paul's Run Retirement Community for the last 3 years. She worked over 40 years in retail, as a dental office manager, insurance professional and various roles in between, never backing away from a challenge. She retired from Crown Cork and Seal where she always said was her favorite place to work. Nancy thoroughly enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, and crafting in her spare time. Family and friends enjoyed her one-of-a-kind fashion creations and hand-crafted gifts.
Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmom, great grandmom and loyal friend. She is preceded in death by her devoted husband of over 60 years Michael J. Cassidy, who was the center of her world. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara O'Malley (Edward), Kathleen C. Kramer (Friedrich), and Mary E. Chernoff (Brian), and her grandchildren, Caitlin Bertheaud (Peter), Elizabeth Smith (Connor), Megan O'Malley (Brendan Ward), Michael O'Malley, Rebecca Chernoff, Jessica Chernoff, and great-granddaughter Cassidy Smith. Also survived by step-grandsons Timothy O'Malley, and Brian O'Malley (Lindsay).
Services and interment will be private at the family's request.
