Nancy J. Cubbage of Coloma, passed away at home on August 18, 2025, at the age of 87, after battling cancer.

Nancy was born in Marshfield, Wisconsin on March 9, 1938, to the late parents of Ray and Adiline Borens, who preceded her.

Nancy is survived by her husband, William "Bill"; sons, Scott (Linda), Eric, Todd (Dawn), and John; grandchildren, Bethany, Kendra (Ruben), Uri, Craig (Ruby), Dana (Michael), and Trevor; great grandchildren, Kane, Josie, Jaric, Theo, Diego, and Rolando.

Nancy was preceded in death by her siblings, John, Gerrie, Peter, and Trudi.

Nancy and Bill were married on May 15, 1965 in Marshfield, Wisconsin and spent 60 beautiful years together.

Nancy was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was the anchor of her family and her kitchen was the heart of her home. Nancy enjoyed cooking and trying out new recipes for her family to try. She also enjoyed reading and knitting.

Nancy worked as a teacher's aid for 27 years at Coloma's Washington Elementary School. Her love of children extended beyond her immediate family in helping nurture and guide other children and to offer a supportive hand in their education.

Nancy will be missed and remembered as a remarkable person whose life was a testament to the power of love, the importance of family, and the lasting impact one person can have on another.

Nancy will be laid to rest at North Shore Memory Gardens at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made out to the Cancer Society, Hospice of Berrien County, and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
