Nancy L. (DeForde) Haywood (nee Truhan) age 64, beloved wife for 35 years of Edward; loving mother of William and Timothy (wife Jessica); devoted grandmother of Andrew (wife Yaneshka), Dominic, Kylie, Audrina and Hailey; cherished daughter of the late George and Margaret (nee Haydoo) Truhan; dearest sister of Ken (wife Laurie, deceased) and Karl (wife Barb), dear sister-law, friend, aunt and great- aunt of many. She is survived by her K-9 companion, Karma.
Nancy was born on April 6, 1957 and died peacefully on February 13, 2022. She was a South Euclid resident since 1985, previously residing in Cleveland Heights. Nancy graduated from Cleveland Heights High School in 1975. She worked as a waitress at Sugar and Spice Canterbury Ale in Little Italy. She enjoyed collecting elephants and was also a fan of the Cleveland Browns and Indians. Nancy was honest and stoic. She was also social, outgoing and a great storyteller.
She will be dearly missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Nancy to The St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Cremation by THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. Offer Condolence for the family of Nancy L. Haywood
