Nancy J. McLarnan, age 89, of Mount Vernon, Ohio passed away Monday, May 12, 2025, at her son's residence in Wooster, following a brief period of declining health. Her loving family was by her side.
She was born on April 11, 1936, in Mount Vernon, Ohio to Richard C. and Helen L. (Hupp) Patrick.
Nancy lived most of her life in Mount Liberty, Ohio. She graduated from Centerburg High School.
She attended Willow Grove Advent Christian Church in Mt. Liberty, Ohio; enjoyed working on puzzles and was an avid reader. Nancy loved to watch Ohio State football and basketball games. She mostly loved spending time with her family and especially being with her grandchildren throughout the years.
She is survived by her son, Eric (Michelle) McLarnan of Wooster, Ohio and her daughter, Toni (David) Wynn of Strongsville, Ohio; grandchildren, Jesse (Morgan) Wynn of Bay Village, Ohio; Scott Wynn of North Royalton, Ohio; Jim (Angie) McLarnan of Shreve, Ohio; and Erica McLarnan of Ashland, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Graham McLarnan, Eric White, Michael White and Penelope Wynn.
Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years, Richard (Jess) McLarnan on February 25, 2025; their son, Randy McLarnan in 2012, her brother, Gary Patrick in 2005; and her parents.
A Visitation of Celebration will take place on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Willow Grove Advent Christian Church, 7192 Columbus Rd. Mt. Liberty, Ohio from 2:00 pm - 4:00 p.m. for family and friends.
Custer-Glenn Funeral Home in Wooster is assisting the family.
