Nancy Kay Orndorff, 74 of Stephens City, VA, peacefully
passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024, at Winchester Medical Center.
Nancy was born in 1950 in Virginia, the daughter of the late Mildred Orndorff Carter. She was a graduate of James Wood High School. Nancy retired from the Army Corps of Engineers as a program analyst. She was a member of Bluemont United Methodist Church. Nancy loved flowers, especially her ferns. She enjoyed shopping with her family, Vera Bradley purses, and sitting on the front porch. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, grandchildren, friends and her puppy, Max.
She is survived by her son, Adam Orndorff and his wife Lindsey; grandchildren, Logan and Mackenzie; sister, Betty Johnson and brothers, Gary Fox and his wife Connie, Gary Borden, and Ricky Edmonds.
Along with her mother, Nancy is preceded in death by her sister, Bobbie Shotwell and her brother, Charlie Carter.
A visitation will be held for Nancy on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 11am with a service to follow at 12pm, all held at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel. Pastor Sherry Waddell will officiate.
