Naomi Bash of Media, PA passed away on September 1 after a brief illness. Naomi was born in Trenton, NJ on April 4, 1928 as the eldest child of Morris Hurowitz and Mae Lavine Hurowitz.
She graduated from Trenton Central High School in 1946 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Drexel University in 1950.
Naomi was an active volunteer throughout her life. She was a Life Member of Hadassah and several other organizations, including the Greenwood House and serving as the Assistant Treasurer of the Mercer County Medical Center Auxiliaries, both in Trenton. She was an avid contract bridge player, enjoyed playing tennis and traveling in areas as diverse as China, South Africa and Antarctica.
Naomi was predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years, Myron. Following his retirement as an orthopedic surgeon in 1985, they moved to Boynton Beach, FL and then Delray Beach, FL before her move to Media after Myron's death.
Naomi is survived by her sons Steven of Santa Monica, CA and Evan of Rose Valley, PA, daughters-in-law Ann and Emily, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and her brother Bert of Phoenix, AZ. Her third son, Gregory, passed away in 2010.
Services for Naomi are being held privately. Her family requests memorial contributions be made to the Simon Wiesenthal Center.

She was a very beautiful person for the brief time I knew her as a worker in the dining hall at Riddle Village. Her daily presence is greatly missed.
