Nathalee Bell Lucas

Rock Hill, SC – Nathalee Bell Lucas, 95, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023 at Rock Hill Post Acute Care.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 10, 2023 in Laurelwood Cemetery, 143 Laurel St, Rock Hill, SC 29730 with Rev. Jerry Devinney officiating.
Born in Halifax, VA, Mrs. Lucas was the daughter of the late Andrew J. Bell and the late Dora Perdue Bell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Buford White Lucas; her siblings, George Bell, Lula Thompson, Gladys Bell, Lonelle Polk, Dessie Wallace, Jack Bell, Clarence Bell, Carl Bell, Barbara Deas, and Patricia Ann Bell. She worked at J.P. Steven until they closed their doors. Following that, she studied at York Technical College. Later in her life, she worked at Piedmont Medical Center until she retired. Mrs. Lucas was a long-time member of Park Baptist Church, where she taught the Young Married Class for several years.
Surviving are her son, Keith (Barbara) Lucas of Rock Hill, SC; her grandchildren, Brian Lucas (Taylor) of Fort Mill, SC and Brooke Passini (Paulo) of Easley, SC; and her great-grandchildren, Bella Passini, Grayson Lucas, and Collins Lucas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Lucas's name to Agape Care, 1069 Bayshore Drive, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
