Tish Wolford (Naugle), 42, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022 at York Hospital peacefully surrounded by her family.
Born on July 8, 1980 in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of Pamela Bakner- Snabley and the late George Naugle. She was a lifelong resident of the Waynesboro area and graduated from Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the Class of 1998.
She worked at Encore, later known as Optima Alliance, for 19 years and more recently started working at TSYS as a chargeback specialist.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her high school sweet heart and husband of almost 20 years, Jeff Wolford of Waynesboro; her two daughters, Emily Naugle of McConnellsburg, Kiersten Wolford of Waynesboro; and many more grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death George Naugle and her great-grandmother Mary Bakner, who she was very close with, as well as many other grandparents.
Tish was a fun loving, family-oriented person who would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. She was an avid bingo player in the surrounding area, lover of coffee and all things Christmas. She was heavily involved in her kids' lives and all of their extracurricular activities. She continued being active in the community once her girls grew up and was frequently seen helping out at events for the Quincy Community Center, and for Waynesboro Area Girls Softball league. Tish was always the party planner and frequently pulled together Sunday dinners and card nights with her family, many fond memories were made and her infectious laugh will always be remembered. Additionally, she loved spending time with her Husband and two children who were the light of her life. Tish was a fierce mother and would go to bat with anyone when it came to her girls. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.
Her family is immensely grateful for all the contributions that have been made in Tish's memory. At this time the Wolford family is requesting that any additional contributions be made to a charity of your choice in honor of Tish.
