Nelda Tolar Obituary
Funeral Services for Mrs. Nelda Faye Tolar, 82, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, January 19, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA, with Bobby Maxwell officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery.
Nelda Faye Tolar was born September 3, 1940, and passed away January 15, 2023. She loved flowers and working in her garden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Tolar.
Survivors include her children, Charlene Maxwell (James), Charles Tolar (Cherrie), and Craig Tolar (Shannon); grandchildren, Brandon Maxwell (Carrie), Stephanie McKinney (Jeff), Ashley Tolar Leija (Remigio), Jennifer Blakeney (Cody), Shawn Tolar, Myka Allen, and Charlie Tolar; great grandchildren, Brayden McKinney, Makayia McKinney, Linnae Maxwell, Winston Maxwell, Gabi Graham, Giuliana Leija, Tres Leija, Amaya Leija, Cutter Blakeney, and Cruze Blakeney; sister, Elizabeth Ward; brothers, David Lewis and Ray Lewis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Remigio Leija, Ashley Tolar Leija, Jennifer Blakeney, Cody Blakeney, Brandon Maxwell, and Shawn Tolar.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
