Memorial services celebrating the life of Mrs. Marti Lynette Hennigan Compton, 46, of Downsville, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 22, 2025, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Ricky Bonnette officiating.
Marti was born in Bossier City, LA on November 14, 1978, and passed away at her residence on August 17, 2025. She loved coaching cheerleading, being outside, hunting, fishing and gardening. Marti was also a dog lover.
Survivors include her husband, Ken Compton, Jr.; son, Kaleb Compton; daughter, Kaytlyn Compton; parents, Mike and Kay Hennigan; father and mother-in-law, Kenny and Lisa Compton; grandmother, Gloria Hennigan; sister, Michelle Roberts and husband, Cleve; sister-in-law, Krystal Compton; nephew and nieces, Cole Michael Stephens, Madi Stephens, Preslee Roberts, Amelia Wilson and Aimee Wilson.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ouachita Parish Animal Shelter in Marti’s honor.
