Nellie L. Hainley

Nellie L. Hainley 88, of Bedford, died on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Victoria House at Springhouse Estates in Everett. She was born on January 21, 1936, in Altoona, a daughter of the late Clinton H. and Maude (Confer) Kagarise. On March 26, 1954 in Altoona, she married George R. Hainley and he preceded her in death on July 30, 2019. She is survived by two daughters: Dr. Susan Beth Hainley Raybuck and husband Randy of Punxsutawney; Trudy Eileen Heise and husband Steven of Bedford; and one grandson Andrew Heise of Marathon, FL. She was preceded in death by a brother Charles Kagarise and a sister Mary Jane Davis.
Nellie graduated from Altoona High School in 1953. She was a member and taught Sunday School at the Bedford United Methodist Church. She worked at Bedford High School in the Transportation Department, and in the Superintendent's office. She also worked as a teacher's aid at the Bedford Elementary School.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral home in Bedford with Rev. Robert Marsh officiating.
