Neva Snyder Obituary
Neva Lee Snyder, age 100, of Buckhannon, WV, died Saturday, March 28, 2026, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Buckhannon. She was born January 17, 1926, in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Louis Carl and Georgia Bauserman Reed. On May 21, 1943, she married Martin Junior Snyder who preceded her in death. Surviving are one son, Terry Snyder and wife Debbie of Buckhannon; two granddaughters, Shawna M. Snyder of Maurice, LA and Amy Lee Snyder and companion Josh Zickefoose of Buckhannon; one great-granddaughter, Bella Lee Snyder of Buckhannon; beloved dog, Charlie Brown of Buckhannon and special friends Brenda Hamilton of Ellamore, WV and Rhonda Cerullo of Buckhannon. Neva Lee Snyder-forever known as Rosie the Riveters-embodied the spirit of determination, patriotism, and resilience, proudly declaring, "We Can Do It!" She had a 20-year career at West Virginia Wesleyan College, retiring in 1986. Neva was blessed with two granddaughters and one great-granddaughter; they were truly the joys of Lee's life. A private graveside service will be held for the family. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
