Lil Nick as he was affectionately called by family, suddenly departed this life on February 25, 2023. Nicholas Andre Atkinson, Jr. was born on February 23, 2003 in Macon Georgia to Phyllis Mc Nair and Nicholas "Tank" Atkinson, Sr.
Lil Nick went to schools in Georgia and New Jersey. He graduated from Caesar Rodney High School (Class of '21) in Camden, Delaware. His first job was at McDonald's in Dover, Delaware where the staff loved him. After graduation, he worked at an Amazon warehouse for a short period of time in New Jersey and then as a Certified Nurse's Assistant at various facilities in Georgia.
Lil Nick was known for his infectious smile and personality that could put anyone at ease. He loved to joke and laugh with family and friends. Anyone that he met would automatically love him and want to be around him. He was bright, loving, gentle and had an energetic spirit. His favorite color was purple. He loved Chinese food and had dreams of becoming a professional gamer or dental hygienist. You would always see him in a hoodie and some crocs at any time of the year.
Lil Nick leaves cherished memories with his father, Nicholas "Tank" Atkinson, Sr.; stepmother, Janice Atkinson; and Chosen Mother, Lauren Hall; grandparents, Jackie (G-G), Harry (Uncle Harry), Nicholas (Pop Pop), Annie (Great Grandmother), Geneva (G Mah); siblings, Harmony, Ziva, Amora, Jaleah, Amina, Davion; uncles and aunts, Billy, Wanda, Desiree, Calvin, Patrick, Nicholas (Statuz), Nakito, LeVar, Jacinto, Keesha, Ceretha(Ce Ce), Byron, Mary, Herman, Pepe, Dorinda, Sophie, Julissa, Troy, John, George; cousins, Davonte, Jasmine, Demetrius, Billy Jr., Bobbi, Juanita, Laron, DeKendre, Korinne, Tony, Niema (Nae), Carolyn.
Lil Nick had many beloved friends, co-workers and loved ones far too numerous to list.
