Nicholas Jalboot, Jr., 78, a long-time resident of Telford, PA, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, October 22, 2024, with family by his side. He and his wife, Kay (Johnston) Jalboot, would have celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on November 23rd of this year.
Born April 25, 1946, in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late Nicholas Jalboot, Sr. and Miriam (Jones) Jalboot. He was a graduate of Roxborough High School and Kutztown State College. He also attended Penn State University.
Mr. Jalboot taught Eighth Grade English for many years at Wissahickon School District. He also coached middle school football for a few years and served as the faculty manager for a short time. He was a member of Zwingli United Church of Christ of Souderton, PA, and Generations of Indian Valley where he enjoyed being a member of the pool team.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Michael Jalboot and his wife, Jessica, of Quakertown, PA, and Christopher Jalboot and his wife, Monica, of Franconia Township, PA; and five grandchildren: Maxwell, Alexander, Claire, Nora and Caleb. He is also survived by a brother, Daniel Jalboot and his wife, Jennifer, of Radnor, PA; and a sister, Sandra Salamone and her husband, John, of Eagleville, PA.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at 11 am on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Zwingli United Church of Christ, 350 Wile Avenue, Souderton, PA, where family will receive friends from 9:30am-10:45 am. For those desiring, contributions may be made in his memory to the Parkinson Foundation (www.parkinson.org). Arrangements are by the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc. of Franconia Township, PA.
