Nicholas C. Sinclair, 40, of South Bend passed away on Wednesday January 15, 2025 in his home. He was born on August 8, 1984, in South Bend, to Mark and Katherine (Szerencse) Sinclair. Nicholas graduated from John Adams High School in 2003 and worked at Mossberg and Company in South Bend. He is survived by his mother Katherine Sinclair, his father Mark Sinclair, his brother, Trevor Sinclair, his sister Erin (Nicholas) Hathaway, all of South Bend and by several Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. Nicholas enjoyed playing disc golf, learning Metallica songs on his guitar, and beating everybody at basketball. He had an amazing sense of humor and lit up every room he was in. His huge smile was contagious and his genuine personality infectious. Nicholas was beloved by family and friends alike and will leave a void that only he could fill with all that knew him. In 2016 he was diagnosed with PML (progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy), which left him with significant brain damage. He fought a hard battle, which he eventually succumbed to. A Celebration of Life for Nicholas will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the PML foundation. To send online condolences, please visit www..kaniewski.com.

I met Nick as a care free, shy man on our first date. He was so kind, nervous and funny. I held his hand while battling PML. We loved each other and throughout our decade together we loved and laughed, cried and shared everything with one another, the good moments, and the bad. I miss he´s laugh, his jokes, his smile when he looked at me. I even miss when he was being bullheaded, or telling me to "simmer down" I miss his voice on my way to work and his "goodnight babe" every night. One thing I'm sure of he is loved and is missed. My heart goes out to his family, especially his Mom and Trevor. You are two remarkable individuals who were there for him everyday.

Nick always had a smile on his face when I worked with him at Mossberg. Always having fun and getting the job done! You will be truly missed my friend. My heart pours out to Trevor, Erin and his parents. God bless
