Nicholas Velasquez

Nicholas C. Velasquez, age 40, of Cambria, WI left us to be with God on Saturday, March 29, 2025.

Nicholas “Nick” was born on July 5, 1984 in Madison, WI to Victor Velasquez and D. Faye Cregger. Nick was raised in Cambria-Friesland, WI and was a proud graduate of C-F High School in 2002. Nick loved to reminisce about his football years, and he loved lifting weights. His biggest passion was his extraordinary barbering skills. He enjoyed all his splendid clients that he had the opportunity to meet and use his hair cutting skills on. He spoke of them often. Nick was a natural people person and could talk to anyone on any subject. He had a wonderful sense of humor and could always make people laugh, always full of conversation.

Nick is survived by his children: Alexis, Alexander, Giovanni, and Christiano; and was soon to be a grandfather of his first grandchild; parents, Victor (Angelica) Velasquez and D. Faye (Marco “Tony”) Gonzalez; sisters: Kimberly, Emily, and Kenya; and brothers: Victor Jr., Marco, and E. Gael. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 4-7 p.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Cambria and Thursday, April 3, 2025 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home with a short remembrance to follow. Burial to follow at Cambria Cemetery.
