Nita Woodham Brehm

Born Juanita Elizabeth Gazil in 1952, "Nita" was a second generation daughter of
Orlando Fl. Growing up in Central Fl. she developed a great love of the outdoors,
nature and animals. Throughout her life she was known for establishing homes for
a multitude of misplaced animals. Having a lifelong passion for horses Nita enjoyed her
affiliation with the Orlando Arabian Horse Association
Nita experienced a long established career as a RPA in property management achieving the
distinguished position of a Regional Director prior to making the transition to a second
career of longevity as a Realtor.
Many enjoyed Nita's sense of humor often relating to life's stories.
Most important to Nita was her love of the Lord. In knowing her you witnessed an
unwavering demonstration of faith as life presented itself.
In years past she served on the Board of a Church Council and participated as a
member of the choir. As a member FUMC of Clermont, Nita was
the Co-Founder of the Bible Boomers Bible class.
Much of Nita's life was dedicated to service and the hands on care of others, especially in
the care of her parents.
Her involvement at the Christian Service Center of Orlando would find Nita
serving and then sitting down and sharing a meal with the homeless.
As a Rotarian she was involved with the "Home At Last" projects building mortgage
free homes for combat wounded veterans.
During the twilight of her life Nita relished in the joy of Gods Blessing reuniting her with her first love, Ed Brehm
Encircled in love Nita peacefully and joyfully embraced her journey home to be with the Lord.
Preceding her from this life were her parents Charles & Rita Gazil, Brother Mitch and
her late husband Colonel William "Pat" Woodham.
Missing Nita while celebrating her life are her Husband Ed Brehm of Weirsdale, Fl,
Son Shane Brehm of Montclair NJ, Sister Joan Waber -Nick of Ringgold Ga,
Sister-Friend Toni Murphy of Whittier NC, Sister-Friend Frances Garrandes of Clermont, Fl and Sister-Friend Alyse Taylor - Kirk of Clermont Fl. along with family and friends.
