Noel Marie (Ullery) Cason, 51, of Mishawaka entered eternal rest on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, with family by her side. She was born on November 24, 1973, in South Bend to Danny and Mary (Woodka) Ullery and later married Victor Cason on May 4, 2013.
Victor survives, along with their beloved fur-baby, Oliver. Noel is also survived by her mother, Mary; her sister, Kelly (Paul) Ullery-Shakula of Edmond, OK; her aunts, Sharon Leinen of Manchester, TN, and Francis (Tim) Beard of North Carolina; and her nieces, Amber (Robbie) Werntz of Spring Hill, TN, Brooke (Nick) Tomlinson of Aaron, TN, and Kendra Ullery of Hopkinsville, KY. She is further survived by many other extended family members and friends who loved her dearly, as well as Victor’s family; his parents, Gary and Arletta Cason, his stepmother, Wanda Sidwell, and nephew, Brandon Sumrall, all of St. Louis. Noel was preceded in death by her father and her brother, Danny, Jr. and Victor’s sister, Deidre Liddell.
Noel was a brave, strong, and gracious woman who never met a stranger. Before her health challenges led her into disability, she found joy and purpose in serving others as a caseworker, particularly supporting adults with semi-disabled handicaps. Her compassion extended into every part of her life, as she deeply valued her faith and the Bible study she attended at Oak Creek Community Church. Noel also had a tender love for all animals. Above all, Noel cherished her biological and extended family, treasuring the memories they created together. Her kindness, strength, and love will be remembered always, and she will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Cremation has taken place with a time to celebrate her life on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 1 - 3:30 pm at Oak Creek Community Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Joseph County Humane Society.
