Kathy Ann Walter, 73, of Osceola, passed away at her home in Osceola on the Friday, August 22, 2025. She was born on January 11, 1952, in Truman, Arkansas, to the late Ellie and Mary Nash.
On September 16, 1972, Kathy married her high school sweetheart, Roy Walter, and together they shared more than 50 years of love and devotion. She is survived by her husband, Roy; her daughter, Rana (Kevin) Walton of Mishawaka, her granddaughter, Kylie (Evan) Bordner and her bonus granddaughter, Sophia Walton. Also surviving is her sister, Sue (Glenn) Bingaman and her nephews Cory (Robin) Patrick, Wade (Janice) Patrick, and Jeff (Lynn) Nash. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Willie Nash and her sister, Patricia Patrick.
Kathy’s faith in Jesus was the cornerstone of her life. She found joy in planting her beautiful flowers, caring for her dogs, and spending time with her family and friends. She was deeply loved and will be remembered for her warmth, devotion, and the love she shared with everyone around her. Kathy will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A time to gather and remember will be held from 3-6 pm on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola.
In her memory, donations may be made to the Faith Mission or the St. Joseph County Humane Society.
