Noreene C. Wilson

Noreene C. Wilson, age 77, of Painted Post, New York, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Corning Centers. She was born on February 27, 1947, in Elmira, New York to Arthur A. & Cecile D. LaComb. Noreene was a graduate of Southside High School in Elmira, NY. She married Robert Wilson and was a devoted wife and loving mother.
She will be remembered as a kind woman who was a friend to many. It would be hard to find a bigger fan of Kenny Rogers, and she loved listening to older country music. Noreene also enjoyed playing competitive games of euchre. Additionally, she dedicated countless volunteer hours to Corning National Little League Baseball.
Noreene is survived by two sons: Robert "Lee" Wilson Jr. of Corning and Kevin Wilson of Painted Post.
Along with her husband, she was predeceased by her parents and a daughter in law: Theresa Lowe.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Carpenters Funeral Home, 14 E. Pulteney Street, Corning, New York 14830. A private burial will be held in Chapel Knoll Cemetery.
