Norma Driftmyer Obituary
Norma Jane Driftmyer, 98, of Fremont, passed away October 30, 2024, at Hospice of NW Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born September 1, 1926, in Fremont to Arthur and Leona (Young) Krienke. Norma was a 1944 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. On November 11, 1947, she married William F. “Biz” Driftmyer at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Fremont, and he preceded her in death on November 2, 1997.
Norma began bowling in her 50’s, becoming an avid bowler and landing herself in the 600 Club. She also enjoyed keeping busy in her yard and could often be found either mowing her yard or tending to her flowers.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Karen (Tim Drenth) Driftmyer of Waterville, OH.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she is preceded in death by her son, Gary Driftmyer, two young sisters and her brother, Richard.
Norma will be laid to rest privately with her husband at Oakwood Cemetery.
