NORMA ANN GHISELLI MURRAY
Life Long Resident of Alameda, California, Norma Murray passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, in Alameda, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Alameda to August and Elena "Ida" Ghiselli, Norma grew up deeply rooted in the community she cherished throughout her life. A proud graduate of Alameda High School, she carried her family's traditions of warmth, hospitality, and dedication into every chapter of her life.
In 1960, Norma married her devoted husband, Robert Fredrick Murray, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, partnership, and family. Together, they built a home filled with faith, laughter, and values that they passed on to their children and grandchildren.
Norma spent more than 20 years as a teacher, touching the lives of countless students with her patience, kindness, and unwavering belief in the potential of every child. Her gentle spirit, steady encouragement, and joyful presence left an immeasurable impact on those fortunate enough to learn from her.
Norma is remembered for her love of Musicals. Spending time with her friends, shopping, spending summer vacations in Tahoe with her family and her dedication to her faith and the Catholic Church.

Richard W Murray his wife Carmencita their children Richard Murray Jr. his wife Veronica, Nicholas Murray and Olivia Murray.
William J Murray his wife Jennifer and their children Katelynn Murray, Elainna Murray and Daniel Murray
Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held Friday December 5, 2025 at 2pm at St Philip Neri Church In Alameda 3101 Van Buren Ave. A private burial service will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward Ca. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions are preferred to St Jude Children's Hospital.
