Bryan Keith Meeks, 49, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024 at home.
Bryan was born in Evansville, Indiana on March 5, 1974 to the late Douglas Meeks and Diana (Smith) Meeks. He was a 1993 graduate of North High School where he played football. After high school, Bryan was a shade tree mechanic alongside his father. He went on to work in production at Whirlpool until their shutdown in 2010. Whirlpool's shutdown allowed Bryan to pursue his true passion - being an auto mechanic. He went to Ivy Tech and earned his Associate's degree in Automotive Technology. Bryan worked as a mechanic at Dartt Automotive for eight years. For the last three years, Bryan worked as a material handler at Toyota. In his free time, Bryan had a passion for customizing cars. He loved installing custom speakers and audio systems. Bryan also enjoyed listening to music and spending time in his garage. He was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ. Bryan had a laid-back personality and a mind of his own. Most importantly, Bryan was a loving father, husband, son, grandson, brother, and friend.
