Olga B. (Marty) Rhoades
Athens - Olga B. (Marty) Rhoades, 76, of Athens, succumbed to dementia while in Hospice care in Lancaster, Ohio.
Born May 10, 1948 in Florence, Arizona, she was the daughter of the late Marcus and Elvira Bermudez Martinez. Marty was raised in California and married Mark Rhoades on April 7, 1973. She accompanied Mark through several Air Force assignments and the couple settled in Athens, Ohio in 1991.
Marty is survived by her husband of 51 years, Mark Rhoades; one daughter Erika Rhoades, two granddaughters, Nevada and Jada Rhoades; one brother, Marcus Martinez; three sisters, Maria Camin, Juanita Gattuso and Anita Echeverria and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother Ray Martinez and two sisters, Virginia Sauceda and Tina Gastelum.
The families wishes there be no public services. Friends are invited to sign the online guestbook at ehwfh.com. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Hughes Funeral Home in Athens.
