Oluwole Mobolaji Bolajoko Fayemi

Oluwole Mobolaji Bolajoko Fayemi, affectionately known as Wole, passed away on November 5, 2024, at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx, NY. Wole was born on February 16, 1968, in Jerusalem, Israel and was known for his charismatic, generous personality and electrifying smile which touched the lives of everyone he encountered.
Wole emigrated from Nigeria to the United States with his family when he was 5 years old. Wole was a child prodigy, gifted in Math and Science. His academic journey began in the Greenburgh Central 7 School District in Westchester County, New York where he excelled academically, and graduated as the salutatorian of his class from Woodlands High School. Wole also showcased his talents in music, playing classical piano and tenor saxophone in the high school jazz band. He was a competitive swimmer on the varsity swim team and a dedicated Boy Scout achieving the esteemed rank of Eagle Scout.
Wole attended Harvard College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biomedical Engineering and Applied Mathematics. His remarkable intellect and passion for innovation propelled him into a successful career on Wall Street as a biotechnology analyst for prestigious firms such as Hembrecht and Quist, and J.W. Genesis Clarke. In 1996 he was recognized as an all-star research analyst by the Wall Street Journal. Later, Wole's entrepreneurial spirit led him to the automobile industry, where he founded Motorius Inc. and pioneered customized car design innovations, earning multiple patents.
Wole is survived by his loving family: mother Ayodeji Bodurin Fayemi; father, Alfred Olusegun Fayemi; sister Bamidele Fayemi Kammen; brother Olutoyin Fayemi; sister-in-law, Annemarie Fayemi; and cherished nieces and nephew Sade Kammen, Cole Fayemi, Lara Kammen, and Olivia Fayemi; and many friends and family members.

The family will be present to honor Wole's life and legacy on Saturday, November 23rd, 2023, at Ruggiero & Sons, Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Services - 732 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10704. Visitation will take place from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life Ceremony which will take place from 10:30 AM until 12:00 PM.
