Ovanell Corriher Obituary
Ovanell Wagner Corriher, 93, of Statesville, NC, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025.
Ovanell was born to the late George Wagner and Nancy Cheek Wagner on January 16, 1932. She was a graduate of Harmony High School. Ovanell was a kind and gracious woman whose life was marked by devotion, warmth, and unwavering love for those around her. Ovanell married the love of her life Mr. Paul David Corriher on August 30, 1975 and together they built a beautiful life filled with faith, laughter, and enduring partnership. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, six brothers and stepson, David Corriher.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband Paul Corriher; daughter, Jonell Hatchinson ; son, Bobby Reavis; stepdaughters, Sheila Simmons and Tina Brown; stepson, Thomas Corriher; 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2PM, Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Chris Thompson officiating. A committal service will follow at Iredell Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held at 1PM prior to the service at Nicholson Funeral Home.
